Chemical Safety Board Is Necessary For Industrial Safety

AIS strongly supports keeping the Chemical Safety Board. It is a necessary tool in understanding and correcting the underlying conditions that cause industrial accidents and fatalities. What the CSB does for industrial accidents is what the FAA does for airplane crashes; identifies the root cause of the incident and issues improvements to prevent it from happening in the future. Scrapping the CSB is a huge step backwards in worker safety.

The foundation of AIS and all of our products are firmly rooted in industrial safety.  Removing the CSB is removing one of the biggest supports for keeping industrial facilities safe.
