Meridian Energy group is planning on building a new 60,000 BPD refinery in Winkler County, Texas. This new refinery will process local Permian crude oil into a full slate of refined products. This is Meridian’s second new refinery, after its first in Billings County, North Dakota which is still under construction. Read more about it here.
