Refinery Construction: Contract Between Meridian Energy and Engineering Firm Vepica USA Inc for North Dakota Refinery Project Green-lit

The Davis refinery, being built in the Bakken Shale region, near Belfield ND, is expected to be fully operational in 2019, but will include 2 phases.

Consisting of a single crude unit as well as ancillary processing units, Phase 1 of the project should have a capacity of 27,500 b/sd. With completion sometime in 2017.

Phase 2 will increase capacity to 55,000 b/sd.

We’re pleased to see this expansion in the production capacity of the Bakken Shale region!
