Madison, WI based Virent has developed new technology which is able to convert sugars and other biomass derived feed-stocks into gasoline blend-stocks and aromatics. This is renewable technology at it’s finest.

We’re always glad to see our friends in the industry working to commercialize emerging technologies that maintain a the high quality standards we’ve all come to expect from energy products. It will be interesting to examine these new stocks as they are introduced as co-processed products or blended with traditional fuels.
