Refinery Construction: Proposed ND Refinery Receives Zoning Permit

Meridian Energy Group issued first of two critical permits to build Davis refinery in Billings County, ND

The next step is for Meridian to file an application with North Dakota Health Department’s Air Quality Division for a permit to construct.

The proposed 55,000 b/sd refinery will exist in the heart of North Dakota’s Bakken shale region, and will be constructed in two phases.

Definitely a good sign for the North Dakota economy, which boasts a country wide low unemployment rate of 3.1%.
